Swedish Health Services Manager Clinic Nursing - Heart And Vascular Clinic in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Manager Clinic Nursing (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Heart And Vascular Clinic at Swedish Medical Group in Seattle, WA.
The Clinic Nursing Manager is responsible for the activities, supervision, management and direction of the clinical operations of the department in accordance with organizational and department philosophy and goals. This position will assist the Director and Clinic Administrator in maintaining the highest degree of clinical and operational performance of the department.
In this position you will:
Responsible for providing leadership to nursing staff (RN’s, MA’s, HCA’s, Externs, Students, etc) and function as a resource for physicians, staff and patients
Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and nursing services, analyzing appropriate internal and external data and information to identify opportunities for improving services and patient outcomes
Provides leadership, direction and guidance to clinical staff
Coordinates work flow and assignments to ensure the most efficient and effective use of staff and resources
Coordinates and maintains the required training and skills of staff
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of accredited school of registered nursing
Current Washington State RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Previous charge nurse experience and/or 2 years relevant leadership experience
