Swedish Medical Center Manager Residency Program - Family Practice Residents in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Manager ResidencyProgram (1.0 FTE, Days) in Family Practice Residents at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

Directs the financial andoperational support activities of the Family Medicine Residency.

In this position you will:

  • Works withfaculty and resident physician to maintain and improve service delivery andtraining. Prepares budgets and reports.

  • Responsible for space planning, maintenance, supplies and all contractservices.

  • Manages and oversees specialand service projects for residency and network, including grant development andresearch.

  • Also responsible forplanning, organizing and coordinating administration of the Family MedicineMedical Center’s residency activities.

  • Supervises and coordinates the process of selecting the clinic’sresident staff.This position also coordinatesthe resident and faculty rotation, curriculum, schedules, meetings and monthlyevaluations.

  • Processes 600 to 800applications per year.Typical contactsinclude physicians, residents, university officials, other residency programand prospective residency candidates.

  • Manages Medical Education Coordinators, Administrative Assistants,Fellowship Coordinators and other applicable support staff including hiring,disciplinary and performance development activities.

  • Responsible for the operational and financialactivities of Family Medicine Residency program.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’sDegree from a college or university required or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
