Swedish Medical Center Manager Residency Program - Family Practice Residents in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Manager ResidencyProgram (1.0 FTE, Days) in Family Practice Residents at Swedish CherryHill in Seattle, WA.
Directs the financial andoperational support activities of the Family Medicine Residency.
In this position you will:
Works withfaculty and resident physician to maintain and improve service delivery andtraining. Prepares budgets and reports.
Responsible for space planning, maintenance, supplies and all contractservices.
Manages and oversees specialand service projects for residency and network, including grant development andresearch.
Also responsible forplanning, organizing and coordinating administration of the Family MedicineMedical Center’s residency activities.
Supervises and coordinates the process of selecting the clinic’sresident staff.This position also coordinatesthe resident and faculty rotation, curriculum, schedules, meetings and monthlyevaluations.
Processes 1200 applications per year.Typical contactsinclude physicians, residents, university officials, other residency programand prospective residency candidates.
Manages Medical Education Coordinators, Administrative Assistants,Fellowship Coordinators and other applicable support staff including hiring,disciplinary and performance development activities.
Responsible for the operational and financialactivities of Family Medicine Residency program.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum of two years as a Senior Medical Residency Program Coordinator, plus at least three years working in a medically or educationally related field.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Residency Tracking Software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
Knowledge of scheduling programs, e-mail, voice mail, and online evaluations tools.
Ability to assimilate graduate programs requirements.
Ability to review financial statements and track expenditures.
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of individuals

Founded in 1974, the Swedish Family Medicine Residency at
Cherry Hill is one of the pioneering programs in Family Medicine. At its heart our program has a mission and a
long tradition of training family doctors to work with underserved,
