Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Mobile Mammography Assistant (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) in Mobile Breast Cancer Services at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Mobile Mammography Assistant who will coordinate daily patient care activities with the mammography technologist by providing assistance to maintain a smooth and efficient process.
In this position you will:
Meet and greet patients.
Complete all paperwork associated with mobile mammography sites. Assist patients with paperwork/forms.
Place orders, schedules patients and completes all registration input into EPIC on board the coach.
Escort patient to dressing areas and instruct them on how to change into gown.
Coordinate patient flow between intake area and mammography room
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
Must have a valid Washington State driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Coursework or certification in Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator.Six (6) months related experience in a medical imaging department and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
General experience regarding medical office paperwork preferred; including billing, coding and medical terminology.
CNA, LPN or MA licensure preferred.
