Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Occupational Therapist (1.0 FTE, Days) at Swedish Cherry Hill Acute Care - Neuro in Seattle, WA.
The occupational therapist (OT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of occupational therapy services. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, significant others, and the patient. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts for physical therapists, and current accepted state of the art practice.
In this position you will:
Cherry Hill specialized in patients with complex neurological and cardiac diagnoses. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, significant others, and the patient. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice guidelines for occupational therapists, and current accepted state of the art treatment techniques.
In this position you will:
Evaluate and develop individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes.
Implement and make appropriate adjustments to the treatment plans.
Reassess treatment results and provide discharge recommendations.
Candidates will need to possess a passion for the neurological population.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy
Washington state occupational therapy license or limited permit
Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration
Insurance coverage as mandated by the State of Washington
