Swedish Medical Center Operations Coordinator - First Hill Case Management in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Shared Services is looking for an Operations Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) for Case Management Department at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for independently coordinating and performing complex and specialized administrative and office duties to support Swedish Inpatient Case Management. These duties may include, but not be limited to responsibility for inpatient staffing matrix, daily staffing, tracking specialty patient populations for staffing and resource deployment (i.e. psychiatric patients), plan planning, acting as a liaison for internal projects, data maintenance and reporting, and coordination of projects and meetings.
In this position you will:
Provides administrative support to Inpatient Case Management team as needed to support case management workflow process on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Maintains master schedules and status of department accountabilities, individual projects or requirements.
Acts as the primary department liaison for internal and external customers. Acts as primary contact for administrative and/or specialized information regarding department accountabilities and/or projects.
Ensures department information is distributed and maintained with appropriate departments and external customers.
Manages the maintenance, review, and updating of department documentation, which may include contracts, standards, policies and procedures, legal or corporate regulatory requirements.
Maintains department records/databases; enter, extract, and submit data for department, state/federal, or affiliation requests or requirements and statistical reporting. Creates and distributes department reports.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of one year of job related experience including responsibility for coordinating complex administrative projects for management and associated professionals in an organization
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Previous Health Care experience
