Swedish Medical Center Operations Coordinator Research - Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, Washington

Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Operations Coordinator Research (1.0 FTE, Days) to work for the Swedish Cancer Institute at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Research Operations Coordinator is responsible for i ndependently coordinating and performing high volume, complex and specialized administrative, office, and project management duties in support of the Division of Research, the Chief Science Officer, and the research finance, grant and contract and leadership teams

In this position you will:

  • Lead administrative staff in carrying out department objectives

  • Act as a liaison for internal and external customers

  • Assist finance team with processing of financial processes and documents including A/P and invoicing

  • Support the Director in the planning, implementation, and reporting of current and ongoing projects to meet the needs of the department

  • Assist with the analysis of assigned projects, establishing schedules, and in setting procedures to accomplish project obligations

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience required

  • Minimum of five (5) years of job related experience, managing the daily operations of a fast paced office environment coordinating complex administrative projects and supporting multiple professional staff members

  • Minimum of one year experience leading the work of others

  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Healthcare experience
