Swedish Medical Center Patient Services Coordinator - Breast Care Center in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Health Services is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in Breast Care Center at Swedish-First Hill in Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a detail focused, caring, and thoughtful individuals to complete patient services coordination while promoting the goals and upholding the ideals of Swedish Medical Center in providing excellent care and experience for our diverse patient population. As the first point of contact to the patient, the Patient Services Coordinator must exhibit exceptional customer service skills.
In this position you will:
Scheduling patient appointments
Register patients and timely check-in/communication to the technical team when patients arrive for their appointments
Use proactive problem solving skills to successfully assist patients when they call and/or arrive in the Swedish Breast Imaging Center (SBIC)
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school education or GED
Experience in performing general and specialized office duties
Experience obtaining insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations
Must obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in a hospital or clinic setting
Experience scheduling patients
Knowledge of MS Word and Windows based applications
