Swedish Medical Center Patient Services Coordinator-Radiation Oncolgy in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator (Per Diem, Day Shift) to work in Radiation Oncology Department at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Patient Services Coordinator performs the reception, referral intake, scheduling, insurance authorization, chart preparation, telephone triaging, and test ordering for the Radiation Oncologist's practice.
In this position you will:
Answers and triages phone calls for the clinic.
Functions as an integral member of the radiation oncology team, providing backup and coverage as necessary for other clerical team members.
Trains new employees in clerical office procedures.
Orders office supplies as necessary.
Transports inpatients to the hospital when transporters are not available.
Works closely with patients, families, visitors, physicians and staff to identify needs, answer questions, resolve problems and/or provide information.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- High School Education or GED
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
12 months experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic.
