Swedish Health Services Patient Support Assistant - Cancer Treatment Center in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Patient Support Assistant (0.90 FTE, Days) to work in the Cancer Treatment Center at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Patient Support Assistant is responsible for the efficient flow of patients through the Treatment Center and continuously demonstrating proficiency in basic cleaning skills and stocking supplies to be used in a patient, staff, or visitor area.
In this position you will:
Demonstrate constant competency in basic core skills such as cleaning and stocking
Use appropriate cleaning techniques, supplies, and safety precautions in cleaning assigned area and equipment
Dispose of all waste appropriately (regular, HIPPA sensitive, sharps containers, chemo waste bins)
Appropriately stock assigned areas including nutrition room, IV supplies, and linen
Required qualifications for this position include:
- High School education or equivalent

- Prior experience in a similar capacity
