Swedish Health Services Pharmacist Lead - Inpatient in Seattle, Washington
Description:
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Pharmacist Lead - Inpatient (1.0 FTE, Evening shift) at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a detail focused, caring, and thoughtful individual in Pharmacy care, promoting the goals and upholding the ideals of Swedish Medical Center in providing excellent care and experience for our diverse patient population. This position works closely with the Pharmacy Leadership team to set the operational and clinical goals for the department.
In this position you will:
Direct the day to day operations of the pharmacists and technicians to assure that pharmacy services are operating efficiently
Assure that established policies for clinical programs and distributive functions are being adhered to by the staff
Evaluates and communicates any changes to staffing and/or policies and procedures that are necessary for the smooth operation of the department
Make contributions to the department in collaboration with caregivers and the pharmacy leadership team
Participates in quality improvement and clinical initiatives
Functions as a Staff Pharmacist (see Staff Pharmacist job description) as needed to meet operational requirements
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Washington
Two (2) years working as a pharmacist in an acute, or ambulatory care setting
