Swedish Medical Center Program Manager - Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Program Manager (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in the Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Program Manager will oversee the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of organizationalprograms for the Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute (SHVI). The Program Manager will ensure that master plans andschedules are followed, develop solutions to program challenges, and directothers for the successful completion of the project on time and on budget.
In this position you will:
Aid with proposal development, contract negotiation, and contractcompliance.
Routinelyprovide supervision of a project or multiple projects to achieve a corporatevision; performing liaison activities with upper management and stakeholders.
Be responsiblefor governance, which involves working with the overarching structure,processes and procedures to accomplish objectives, which include metrics ofsuccess and deliverables.
Be responsible for alignment, which entails top-downvision, goals and objectives from business strategy flowing through to the successfulcompletion of projects from program objectives.
Be responsible for assurance,which includes performing checks and balances for compliance with standards andvision alignment and to minimize exposure and risk across multiple projects.
Performregular reviews to check for accountability and successful management ofproject, stakeholders and suppliers as well as track program component costs with overallprogram administration costs.
Perform ongoing performance assessment, research anddevelopment of new capabilities, and systematically applying knowledge forprogram success.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
Minimum four years experience in a similar role in a comparable or larger institution
Minimum five years experience in project management preferably in a healthcare setting
Experience in financial business management andstrategic development
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Masters Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
