Swedish Medical Center Project Manager- Clinical Value Performance Imp in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Shared Services is looki ng for a Project Manager (1.0 FTE, Day) to work in Clinical Value Performance Imp for Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA. This position is responsible for leading complex projects endorsed by Swedish Administration. This position focuses on using a standardized project management and quality improvement methodology to facilitate change within the institution. Duties include identification of resource requirements, project plans, project schedules, and working with other departments and services within the health system affected by the scope relating to the implementation of the assigned projects. Administers the process of analyzing requirements and makes recommendations for system and process change. Assures analysis and management of the total needs of the assigned department for select initiatives.
Build effective partnerships with key business and organizational leaders, users and vendors.
Document, present, and obtain approval of project requirements, goals, objectives, plans, and schedules and that includes the following: testing plans, baseline measurement, outcome goals, project budget, budget tracking methodology, risk assessment and change management process.
Administer, communicate, and implement the project plans consistent with organization expectations, timeframes and budgetary guidelines.
Identify, select and establish primary and back up operational support resources who will develop and maintain a technical proficiency in the products in order to provide ongoing maintenance, enhancement and operations support for them.
Leads the project teams including other technical, clinical, and business experts. Identifies milestones, tasks and activities through prescribed project management and development techniques and methodologies.
Assist project team members with researching, developing, obtaining approval for services and resources required in response to project needs.
Requirements qualifications for this position:
Bachelor of Arts Degree from a four year college or university required
4 years of experience in a healthcare setting with at least one year implementing enterprise solutions
Demonstrated track record of implementing projects on time, on budget, within organizational guidelines required; experience in all areas of project management, time lines, scope of work, cost, risk and reports
Business and clinicalprocessing re-engineering skills
Ability to identify andmaintain project scope (both in and out of scope).
Thorough working knowledgeof quality improvement processes
Able to identify opportunities and problem solve complex situations
Preferred qualifications for position:
Master Degree preferred
Experience in project management in healthcare related, public health and community health field in a medium or large non-profit or business environment preferred
