Swedish Health Services Provider Contracting Specialist - Administration in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Provider Contracting Specialist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work at Administration Department in Seattle, Washington.
The Provider Contracting
Specialist provides day to day support of operations as it pertains to
compensation and contracting within the Provider Affairs team. The scope of
this work includes managing contracting workflows, collaborating with key
stakeholders on contract details, updating provider and employment records, and
production and maintenance of key reports.Serves as the subject matter
expert in compensation administration for relevant region and must be well
versed in contract and compensation language. Responsible for submission of
required paperwork to make changes to provider record to include not limited to
new hire and change in compensation and/or FTE. The Provider Contracting
Specialist serves as the liaison amongst key stakeholders. Partners with
compensation team for ad hoc projects. The role is responsible to
perform all duties in a manner that promotes team success and reflects the

justice, excellence and stewardship.
In this position you will:
Provide system Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) assistance/trouble shooting to internal users
Manage and triage emails in Provider Services shared inbox
Interpret and understand Provider Compensation as exhibited in Employment Contracts/Amendments
Submit required paperwork related to Provider Employee Record as it relates to new hires, position status changes, compensation changes, addition/removal of positions, etc.
Weekly touch base with Supervisor, Operations and Program Manager-Compensation
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in health care, business administration, information technology, or related area; equivalent educ/experience
One (1) year experience in contracting, legal support and/or database administration
Demonstrated experience with business application software and database management
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Two (2) years of experience in contracting, legal support and/or database administration
