Swedish Health Services Registered Radiology Technologist - Medical Imaging in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Radiology Technologist (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to work for the Medical Imaging Department at Swedish Ballard, in Seattle, WA.
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis purposes.
In this position you will:
Demonstrate functional understanding of various types of x-ray equipment and applications, to include c-arm, portable, R&F, etc.
Provide optimal diagnostic images in an expedient manner as well as provide appropriate clinical information to the radiologist.
Consistently follow departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology sufficient to allow optimum positioning of patients for imaging.
Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation safety.
Keeps abreast of current techniques and protocols.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program.
At the time of hire must have Radiologic Technologist registry by ARRT.
Washington State Certified Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
