Swedish Medical Center Revenue Cycle Application Analyst in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Revenue Cycle Application Analyst (1.0 FTE, Days) in Central Business Services at the Bank of America Building in Seattle, WA.
The Revenue Cycle Application Analyst serves as a liaison and builds collaborative relationships between business application and operational users to ensure the optimum design and use of revenue cycle software and workflows for patient safety, patient experience, resource efficiency, and revenue capture.
In this position you will:
Analyze and articulate current state workflows and barriers to optimization
Assist with analyzing build requirements and recommending design specifications
Collaborate with operational users and Clinical Information Systems department to identify, analyze and resolve system issues pertaining to professional billing
Support implementation of new practices, specialties, and providers to Epic Professional Billing
Recommend enhancements to existing functionality to optimize efficiency and support financial excellence
Use excellent communication skills to serve as a change agent for workflow process changes
Utilize a strong understanding of the software, the operational workflows and the governing policies and regulations
Assist Training department in the update of maintenance of training and support materials
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Certification in Epic Resolute Professional Billing Administration I & II Required but can be obtained while in position
Minimum five years progressively more responsible work experience in a health care business office
Experience in data control functions and formal technical training, especially in data resource management principals
Proficiency with Excel and/or Microsoft Access for analysis, monitoring and/or tracking purposes
Proficiency with medical terminology and coding
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/healthcare billing experience, including formal job training
Certification or Proficiency obtained in Epic Resolute Professional Billing Claims and Epic Resolute Professional Billing Electronic Remittance
