Swedish Medical Groupis looking for a Scanning Clerk (1.0 FTE, Days) in the Central Business Servicesat Seattle, WA.


for scanning and indexing of all images received from Central Business

Services. Prepare and organize documents

for proper imaging. Verification of image quality and correct indexing data. Support all departments regarding online

application, scanning, indexing and workflow.

In this position youwill:

  • Acceptand organize documents from departments.

  • Sortall documents that will be scanned.

  • Preparedocuments for scanning by removing staples, paperclips, and any other item thatmay prohibit correct scanning of document.

  • Startand shut down scanner and computer.

  • Maintainscanner through cleaning and changing consumables.

  • Keeptrack of scanner maintenance.

  • Properimaging of documents.

  • Familiaritywith different documents types and requirements.

  • Properindexing of all documents types for on line retrieval.

  • Rescanningand indexing of bad images presented by department.

  • Transmissionof documents throughout SPD.

  • Locatemissing/misplaced documents.

  • Workwith vendor to retrieve documents.

  • Verificationof image quality and correct indexing values.

  • Familiaritywith online application and department workflow process.

  • Supportdepartment by telephone and/or email correspondence regarding onlineapplication, scanning, indexing, quality assurance, and workflow processes.

  • Demonstratecompetency with all position related software programs.

  • Consistentuse of AIDET system for excellent service.

  • Copydocuments for imaging at a later time in the event that the on-line applicationis not functional.


Required qualificationsfor this position include:

  • H.S.Diploma or GED
