Swedish Medical Center Simulation Technology Specialist - RN Residency in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Simulation Technology Specialist(Per Diem , Days) to work for the RN Residency at the Swedish First Hill Campus in Seattle, WA.
Working under the direction of the Clinical Education and Practice Manager and with the Simulation Center Manager, the Simulation Technologist will operate simulation equipment and technology during healthcare simulation scenarios within the Swedish Simulation Center and in patient care areas at Swedish Medical Center campuses.
In this position you will:
Manage the organization of supplies
Prepare for simulation activities
Maintain the center and equipment including manikins, computers, hospital equipment and space
Perform some administrative duties including managing communication tools, data collection and collation, preparation of educational materials, acquisition of supplies, tracking and scheduling of supplies and equipment
Required qualifications for this position include:
Proficiency in use of audio/visual equipment including recording, duplication, and editing
Proficiency with computer hardware equipment and software applications, including those relevant to simulator functions
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Advanced Degree in Technology or Health related field
Two years of experience directly working with simulation education, healthcare simulation and/or knowledge of healthcare education
