Swedish Health Services Sleep Technologist Registered - Sleep Lab in Seattle, Washington

Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Sleep Technologist Registered (0.9 FTE, Night Shift) to work in the Sleep Laboratory at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Sleep Technologist performs comprehensive adult and pediatric polysomnographic testing, analysis, patient care and education, and associated interventions including diagnostic and therapeutic services such as CPAP, Bi-level, ASV, and O2 titration, under the general oversight of the Lab Supervisor, Manager, Director, or designee.
In this position you will:
Gather and analyze patient information. Verifies medical order and protocol
Calibrates recording equipment and prepares ancillary equipment; applies electrodes and sensors according to accepted standards
Follows procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data
Score sleep/wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines; scores clinical events according to current guidelines
Attends mandatory meetings and in-services; work with patients regarding CPAP initiation and compliance
Promptly complies with applicable rules, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding professional, safety and infection control issues
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or GED
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
Must obtain and provide management with proof of certification and required CECs to maintain current registered status
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN)
Documented proficiency of all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist
Preferred qualification for this position include:
