Swedish Medical Center Social Worker - Center for Advanced Brain Tumor in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a compassionate, detailed orientated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker to support our Center for Advanced Brain Tumor at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Social Worker is responsible for providing medical related social services to patients and families. These services include psychosocial and discharge needs assessments, planning and intervention.
In this position you will:
Communicate effectively with patients, families, co-workers and community agencies
Work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team in the inpatient and outpatient settings, pre- and post-procedure
Participate and or lead in Group Therapy sessions
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Social Work.
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
Advanced training, geriatric or medical social work.
3 years experience working with inpatient, outpatient, or home-based social work.
