Swedish Medical Center Social Worker MSW - PHP Post Partum Depression in Seattle, Washington

Seattle, Washington -- Swedish Medical Center is seeking an excellent licensed clinical social worker to serve as part of perinatal behavioral health services at Swedish. The primary role is to provide outpatient therapy to women in pregnancy and the postpartum year, as well as support our perinatal partial hospitalization program located at Swedish First Hill. • Part-time position; 32 hours a week.

• LICSW or LCSW certification and previous work experience in a medical setting and/or with pregnant and postpartum populations required.

The Swedish First Hill campus is a 697-bed, general medical and surgical hospital located in downtown Seattle. As the largest of Swedish’s five hospitals, First Hill is considered the main Swedish campus. In addition to the hospital and emergency department, the First Hill campus is home to the Swedish Cancer Institute and the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including the area’s largest childbirth center, NICU and specialty pediatric care.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school

  • Licensed Social Work Associate – Advanced (LSWAA) or Licensed Social Work Associate- Independent Clinical (LSWAIC)

  • Excellent clinical experience

  • Ability to use PC for clinical data entry (keyboard proficient) and email

  • Must be able to use general office equipment (i.e. telephones, voice-mail, fax machines, photocopying, etc.) proficiently

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW) with the Washington State Department of Health under Chapter 18.225 RCW

  • One (1) plus years’ social work/discharge planning experience in a rehabilitation unit or acute care hospital

  • Education/experience in geriatric and adult populations

  • Education/experience with a disabled population

  • Utilization management experience
