Swedish Medical Center Social Worker MSW - Women and Infants Outpatient Services in Seattle, Washington
Seattle, Washington - Part-time position. Swedish Medical Group is seeking an excellent licensed clinical social worker to serve as part of perinatal behavioral health services at Swedish, LICSW or LCSW certification required. Previous work experience in a medical setting and/or with pregnant and postpartum populations. This is a great opportunity to work as a core member in a multidisciplinary medical clinic environment using short-term, evidenced based treatment modalities. The primary role is to provide short-term outpatient therapy to women in pregnancy and the postpartum year. Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school
Licensed Social Work Associate – Advanced (LSWAA) or Licensed Social Work Associate- Independent Clinical (LSWAIC)
Excellent clinical experience
Ability to use PC for clinical data entry (keyboard proficient) and email
Must be able to use general office equipment (i.e. telephones, voice-mail, fax machines, photocopying, etc.) proficiently
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW) with the Washington State Department of Health under Chapter 18.225 RCW
One (1) plus years’ social work/discharge planning experience in a rehabilitation unit or acute care hospital
Education/experience in geriatric and adult populations
Education/experience with a disabled population
Utilization management experience
