Swedish Medical Center Student Radiology Technician - Cherry Hill Medical Imaging in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Student Radiology Technician (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to work for the Medical Imaging Department at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Student Radiology Technician is responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures under the supervision of the Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and/or Radiologist.
In this position you will:
Has complete understanding of x-ray equipment and applications.
Accurately provide diagnostic images and related functions.
Consistently follows departmental protocols.
Possess a working knowledge of human anatomy sufficient to allow optimum positioning of patients for imaging.
Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation safety.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current enrollment in a formal Radiologic Technology training program
Washington State X-Ray Technician - Registered licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
