Description:
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Supply Chain Operation Supervisor (1.0 FTE, Variable Shift) to work in Scm Ops First Hill at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Supervisor of Supply Chain Operations is accountable for the implementation of the Supply Chain Management Operations and Logistics strategy under the direction of the Manager, Supply Chain Operations. Under the direction of the Manager, administers daily Supply Chain.
In this position you will:
Supervise department staff which includes scheduling work, monitoring and providing feedback on performance to ensure compliance with guidelines, policies, and procedures, and giving input to performance reviews. Act on behalf of Manager in their absence as directed.
Develop distribution procedures, job standards, and evaluation criteria in coordination overall Supply Chain
Manage and direct official supply chain perpetual inventories by analyzing product usage, and adjusting inventory levels as appropriate
Monitor and maintain the distribution budget. Transfer expenses from Materials Management to other hospital departments as appropriate
Monitor additions, deletions, and changes to patient charges and keeps them current and accurate. Work closely with departments to ensure product charges are made with EPIC
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associates Degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance or Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent education and experience
Minimum of 4 years of Supply Chain Management or Finance experience
Minimum 1 year in a supervisor capacity
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance or Logistics/Supply Chain Management
One (1) year experience in healthcare business operations and/or financial management in a healthcare setting, standardizing disparate processes, process improvement methodology and/or product management, change management and operational improvement
