SwedishHealth Services is looking for a System Director of Facilities Management (1.0FTE, Days) in Seattle, WA.
The System Director of Facilities Management is responsible for the performance,maintenance and regulatory compliance of all facilities making up the SwedishHealth Services real estate portfolio. The Director of FacilitiesManagement will provide leadership to ensure a working environment thatpromotes teamwork and customer satisfaction and ensures that the standards ofservice are met for all Facilities teams in a manner consistent with themission and values of Swedish.
Inthis position you will:
Facilitatequality improvement programs and processes which support the values ofSwedish Health System in an efficient manner with special attention tosystem standardization and a focus on establishing consistent bestpractices across all campuses and locations.
Beaccountable for the development and oversight of budgets for all FacilityEngineering and Facilities Construction departments.
Providesupport and direction as an integral part of the Swedish planning, designand construction management teams.
Insurethe physical plant infrastructure, systems, documentation and equipmentmeet regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Providea single point of contact for facilities surveys
Reportdirectly to the Swedish Chief Real Estate Officer
Required qualificationsfor this position include:
Bachelor’sdegree in mechanical, electrical, civil or industrial engineering required
Relevantexperience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
Musthave at least five years of progressively responsible healthcarefacilities experience, including at least three years of campus managementresponsibilities.
Preferred qualificationsfor this position include:
AProfessional Engineer’s license registered with the State of Washington isdesirable.
Previoushealth care facilities management experience with multiple campuses ispreferred.
