Swedish Medical Center Telecommunications Attendant - Call Center in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Telecommunications Attendant (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to work in Call Center at Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA.
This position is responsible for handling incoming, outgoing and inter-office calls in a timely and efficient manner, while simultaneously responding to all hospital emergency codes. Identify and handle customer inquiries completely and accurately by utilizing customer service skills to optimize the opportunity of each customer contact. Use technology tools as directed and within established guidelines. Required to maintain confidentiality of Swedish Medical Center's customers and data.
In this position you will:
Answer all incoming calls. Identify and handle customer inquiries completely and accurately.
Transfer calls to appropriate patient rooms, departments, and to employee extensions as requested from caller.
Utilize all technology tools (EPIC, AMCOM, Emergin, etc.) as directed and within established guidelines.
Respond to emergency code calls in a calm and efficient manner. Overhead page by campus, page appropriate code teams, and calls key departments as identified on each specific code sheet as directed.
Complete the specific code sheets properly to ensure all data are captured in an effort to ensure patient safety as it pertains to codes.
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED
Recent clerical or customer service experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Prior Call Center and experience on automated telephone systems.
Experience in a customer contact or relevant service industry.
