Swedish Medical Center Transportation Officer in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for an on-call, variable shift Transportation Officer for the Transportation Van and Fleet department at Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA.

The Transportation Officer operates SMC vehicles for Swedish Health Services. Parks and operates vehicles in an efficient manner while maintaining a high level of customer service.

In this position you will:

  • Valet parking service includes greeting all clients in vehicles that arrive at the drive and inquiring whether the customer wishes valet parking service.

  • The valet provides logistical information to assist the customer during their visit, even if Valet Services is not utilized.

  • Drivers for the employee shuttle service pick up and deliver riders to scheduled stops on the established shuttle route.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Valid WA driver’s license

  • Demonstrated clean driving record, MUST be insurable

  • Previous experience as a courier/van driver

  • MUST be extremely dependable
