Swedish Medical Center Workflow Specialist in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Workflow Specialist (1.0 FTE, Days) in Seattle, WA.
The Workflow Specialist plays a vital role on the Quality Improvement team, demonstrating the Swedish values of patient-centered care and service; respect, caring and compassion; teamwork and partnership; continuous learning and improvement; and leadership.
In this position you will:
Support all aspects of the Swedish Medical Group clinical quality improvement efforts
Identify areas for targeted analysis, data measurement, analysis and reporting, and supporting clinical program Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles
Develop, implement and evaluate departmental goals and objectives to support the quality plan
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in health administration, public health, or related field is preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
Experience in applied project management, specifically working with quality improvement outcomes
Knowledge of ambulatory health care operations and systems
Strong computer skills a must
Commitment to teamwork and quality care
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and problem solve independently
Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in health administration, public health or related field
Clinical certificate or license (eg, medical assistant, LPN/RN, or similar)
